Almost finished...

The wall is getting close to done...
Just a few more bricks...

Isn't it pretty...

Yippee!! The wall is complete...now we just have to wait for the gate. We are getting an iron gate made. Last year at the Rose Bowl flea market, I found an old piece of an iron gate and I painted it white and had it hanging on the fence. I asked if it could be used on my new gate and they said it probably can! That will be so nice to have my own find made into the new gate!
Once it cools down a bit...it is supposed to be 106 today...I will go out and move some of the perennials around and plant some new things too. I want to add a little curve to the grass and maybe put in a green Japanese maple tree . We'll see...my yard is always changing...
Have a great day!!

Nice! Have you seen the maples that have a pinkish trunk? They are so beautiful even when they don't have leaves.....

How exciting to have a new stone wall. I have the common not to pretty wood fence but I am glad to have it.

Thanks for coming by my blog. Yes, the gulf coast sand is so white and we love it. See you also have a beautiful little girl to spoil. So darling.

I love all your flowers. You mentioned spreading viola seeds in a previous post. I would be interested in knowing more about that. Are you talking about planting seeds you purchased or gathered yourself?
