Above is the little quilt that I posted before. I needed to have something for the month of August, so last week when my sister and I had a sewing day....
I made this! Actually, I just finished the running stitch around the edges last night. I had a blanket stitch, but I really didn't like the way it looked. I think the running stitch looks better, so I changed it.

Here's a close up, well, sort of, of the sunflowers. Wool is so much fun to work with. It is very forgiving too. I like the way my little table looks now.
What do you think?

Cute! I love sunflowers! Like the purse with the dragonflies, too.
Your sunflowers look great! I need to get me some wool and make myself something like that! :0)

As a person who as trouble sewing on a button, I'm always so impressed with anybody who knows how to quilt. :-)
What a very cute tablerunner. I just wish I had time to sew every cute thing I see on these blogs.
I think I need to get out my sunflower quilt after seeing your runner. Summer is finally winding down.
I love your little wool table quilt. I start thinking sunflowers in August too. Missed some of your posts, but went back to catch up. Your bags are so cute. You really add sweet detail. How is Etsy working for you. I have been thinking of putting my little girls purse on and my pattern.
How adorable!
Very nice, I do love the sunflowers.
Great work! The colors are wonderful! Sure is a pretty spider plant. Does it have any babies yet? I have never been able to grow that plant. I have tried about 3 times.
Thanks for sharing your lovely work! Carolyn
