A new toy...

Don and I went to Home Depot on Sunday afternoon ( I know what you're thinking...too much fun) because he wanted to buy some new batteries for his Ryobi tools. Well, for $10 more than the price of the batteries and a new charger (of course they get you for that too) I got a new line trimmer. Pretty exciting huh?? I know it's hard to contain your enthusiasm, but try. I really hated my old trimmer. It cut me more than the grass some days. This one is cordless and I am hoping it will do the trick. I did cut a few things that I didn't want to cut this morning, but that's learning for ya! Notice the wonderful lime green color too. That was key to me as well.
Happy gardening!!

Hi Linda! Thanks for stopping by my crazy quilt blog, and for the wonderful comment! I too have a cordless trimmer, and love it. It's so much lighter and easier to use than my husband's gas powered one and his electric. I made a couple bad cuts too, but once I figured the string length, that took care of that!

Thanks for coming by my blog. Your gardens are beautiful. I can't have hosta's in my yard as the elk and deer really eat them up. I pray that what I planted today will be there tomorrow. LOL I love the purses you create, especialy the black and white one. I shall keep checking your Etsy shop for one like that.

I am so happy for you getting your new lime green garden tool as that is definitely NOT what I would want. I don't do power tools with yard work. Pulling weeds by hand is my way of having fun!
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment.
Your black and white summer bags are wonderful. Happy creating...

If I were buying a weed trimmer, I'd pick that color too! :0)
