Finally....

Black-eyed Susans are one of my favorite flowers in our garden. The plant dies down to nothing over the winter and slowly comes back in the late spring. We have these beauties all over our back yard and I have been waiting very patiently, I might add, for them to start flowering.
This week the wait is over....

These guys will be filling my yard with happy yellow faces very soon!

Very pretty. I would be picking them like crazy. I love to bring them inside and put them on display!

I have tons of them, too! The cool thing is that the Goldfinches love the seeds...and once they re-deposit them (if you know what I mean!) the plants start coming up all over the place! They are indeed one of the plants that just says "Summer" to me!

XOXO,

Cyndi

What beautiful photos! I love zinnias! So pretty! I am having to water mine everyday in this intense heat we are having! It rained yesterday afternoon and I was so glad...I didn't have to water!
