A couple times a year, my sister and I drive down to Newport Beach to Rogers Gardens. It is right near the beach and it is quite an amazing nursery...on Wednesday we met a friend for lunch and then the three of headed over to Rogers, which has been all decked out for the season...
There were quite a few of these guys there...they were cute and would look great on my front porch, but for $1250...I'll settle for a photo!
This one was cute too...but again...way too much for my pocket book...
These fascinated me...it's lots of Halloween do dads glued on what seemed to be a Styrofoam cone...there are three different sizes here...the largest one was priced at $400! I think I can take a trip to Big Lots or the 99cent store and duplicate these...who spends this kind of money in this economy??Not me...even in a good economy...I'd still try and make it!
They had lots of pumpkins too...I like these flat ones...
These grey ones are kind of spooky to me...
The baby ones are great in a basket ...or put them in a pot with some Fall flowers...
These make my skin feel weird and itchy...too warty..
I like these alot...they remind me of Thanksgiving...
These are so bright...and many different colors on one...
I love this time of year...even though our weather has been pretty warm for most of this month. Today looks to be a bit cooler...so one can only hope that Fall will stick around for more than a couple days. Have a great weekend my friends!!

It was a fun time...and I sooooooooooo wanted one of those pumpkin men, that is until I saw the price tag...wowser!!!!!

I live and garden in Southern California too. And appreciated the rain last week. I haven't been to Roger's Gardens for a while but it is always a treat to go there - especially during the holiday season. Great pumpkins pictures...so many different kinds.
Beautiful colors! I love fall and the variety of pumpkins and squash available!
