Another bit of silliness came at the unwrapping of the gifts...and the snuggies...all the boys got them...and so there was the snuggie war between the Dodgers and Angels...don't they look cute! Those are my three boys in the Angels...and my brother in law, Joe, and nephew, Alex , in the dreaded Dodger snuggies! I can tell you that my boys have already been getting a lot of use out of them...it has been cold and wet here and Don uses his to root on his fantasy football team! I tried it out...and I must admit...they are pretty cozy! Thanks Mom...they were a hit!
Lola enjoyed Christmas morning at our house...she got lots of goodies in her stocking and quickly chewed off all the appendages of this crazy chicken Santa brought her.
I wanted to show you a few things I made before Christmas...here is a cat ornament...this is an older pattern I had made years ago...I just updated it a bit. This one went to my partner in Australia, Janice, as part of an exchange.
I made several of these too. The Santas are made out of the wool clothing I recycled and were more work than I had planned on, but fun. It is a table topper or wall hanging...whatever you like...I sent one to Janice as part of the exchange...and I made them for my sisters, Mom, and a couple of good friends. I hope they enjoy them!
It has been cold, rainy and windy here...perfect weather for sewing and crafting...
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and that 2011 will bring you nothing but joy, good health and plenty of time to work on all of your projects!
Enjoy the day, my friends!

What great Christmas photos, and what a great new tradition you have established.
You asked about the flooring at my latest blogpost. It is the original hardwood planks that were under the lino, sanded and treated with a VOC friendly finish.
What wonderful family photos, Linda! I love the idea of a crazy Christmas sweater party..what fun! Baby Stella is adorable! Little children bring such joy to the holiday.
Each and every gift you made was beautiful and obviously made with love.! I'm sure the recipients were very happy.

A little bit of silliness is the best thing of all. It's wonderful to laugh..
Love your post. The snuggies were really popular this year. I gave my two nephews one and they were thrilled to get them and I thought they were so goofy at first.. what did I know?
Love the towels you made. How did you do the design? Is that sewn on or drawn w/ some sort of pen that works on cloth? they are really neat
God Bless, julie
