It's finally stopped raining here in my neck of the woods and the clouds were blown away last night too...
This is the view from my front porch...there is snow in the mountains by my house...it is so pretty against the bright blue sky! It has also warmed up a bit too...it was 56 when I took these pictures this morning and it is supposed to get into the low 60's today.
This is the view yesterday from my front porch...quite a change...wouldn't you say?
I went out when the rain stopped to see how much snow had fallen...quite a difference today...most of the lower snow has melted already.
This is right over my neighbor's house across the street...yesterday afternoon...I love our mountains...and I love them even more when they are topped with snow...the more the better...

Enjoy the day, my friends!

Very pretty! I am not missing the rain this week either.
What an amazing view you have!!!
Linda, your view is gorgeous. If I had a view like that, I'd never get anything done! What do I see from my front porch? My neighbors' houses across the street! :o(
XOXO,
Cyndi
So pretty!
Gorgeous! Glad it stopped raining.
Well my front porch view isn't that nice but I can just go down the road a ways and see gorgeous mountains in a few directions. Some days I take them for granted and then suddenly they are front and center and I can't miss them with the sun shining on the snow covered trees.
Those photos are just gorgeous.
Beautiful pics !
Happy New Year !
Love your son's ugly sweater .
Blessings,

Well the view from my front porch certainly isn't like yours! Wow...I would like snow if it would be 56 degrees when I saw it! Here in Illinois...it is flat, flat, flat!
Thanks for your visit!
Sue
Gorgeous, gorgeous views! We are getting snow here, but the view isn't anything like yours :-)
Hello Linda, your snow capped view is stunning. We too have lovely mountains to see from our front deck. We are in Florida, thus my late comment but our view with snow is also stunning. We are blessed aren't we?
Happy New year,
Hugs, Jeanne
Hi Linda,
I have a view of snow capped mountains from my backyard but not my front porch. Your pics are great, I love those blue skies.

What a wonderful view you have from your porch. Now that we are in the back of my sons acreage, we look out at the chickens...but that's okay. This sping we are going to spuce it up.
Loved your Christmas silliness post and seeing your family. Great fun...loved your son's GW find.
Nice view you have, and the blue sky is wonderful. We either have to walk up the hill or drive down it to see our mountains which is worth the trip either way! I love mountains, anywhere, the water too. Seattle has great scenery....and lots of rain. But when skies are sunny, oh my!
Hi Linda,
Your mountains are beautiful. My husband grew up in Fillmore, is that close by where you are? I enjoyed looking at your bags in your esty shop too. Thanks for stopping by to say hello!
Kathy
beautiful pics, thankful the rain stopped!!
