As I promised...I'm back to show more of the wonderful quilts from Road to California...this is one of the judges Choice Award winners...I feel like I am looking out a window to a snowy landscape looking at this one...so perfect!
Another judges Choice Award winner...I loved this mosaic about her dog...
This one just made me smile...it's called Maynard...

I thought this one was incredible...imagine laying out all those tiny squares! Well...I can't!
This was simple but very pretty...
here is a close up of one of the stars...I love it!

I really like the look and colors of this one...it is so early American looking I think.
Of course we had to eat...I was starving by the time lunch came...California Pizza kitchen...Yummy!
What a cute boxed lunch...don't you think...it was a chopped barbecue chicken salad...and I know what you're thinking...that's a HUGE cookie...yes it was...but it made it's way to my husband's lunch...I could never eat all that chocolate...
I really liked this booth...everything was so pretty...even the sign...
she had all theses lovely romantic fabrics...
and the quilts...oh my...never in my wildest dreams could I make these...but I love them!
Look at the pink poodle in the corner...reminds me of when I was a little girl...
Even the Halloween quilt was pretty...such soft colors...
Heart to Hand is one of my favorites too...Here is last year's BOM...she was selling the patterns.
This is a new BOM...I really like this one too.
This is a quilt from Primitive Gatherings...this one I could try one day...because it is wool applique...we'll see...her booth was so crowded...it was hard to see everything and shop...
but look at all the luscious wool...kind of makes me drool...
This one I am going to have to make...I love everything about it...it is simple, yet colorful and happy...it will look perfect on my kitchen table. I had a great time...kept in my budget and came home with some great patterns and even a velveteen rabbit for Spring...I am finishing up a project for my bed that I will show you next time...until then...

Awesome photos, Linda! Thank you so much for sharing them. The quilts are beautiful! I love the ones with the dogs. I've seen photos of Maynard before. I love that quilt...would love to meet Maynard, himself someday :-)
I agree that your vendors had some great displays. I love the new BOM from Heart to Hand.
Enjoy that new wool project. It will be lovely.
Wow! I prefer to call those "works of art," instead of quilts. :) They are magnificent.
Oh shoot, just did a long comment and lost it. I saw you on Saturday walking down Front Street with who I assume was your husband. I had to go straight to my appt, and then had very little time to shop, as I had to babysit that afternoon. I did pop into Wool Lady, saw your lovely bags, bought a bit of wool, asked her if you and Deb had been in, and she said no???? Quilt pics from Road are wonderful. And I love that wool runner too!!!
I would have loved to attended this function. Such talented people made these quilts! I cannot imagine doing all of that work.
Sounds like you like to shop at quilt shows too! Love that redwork quilt; it reminded me there's one awaiting me to finish it...... Thanks for sharing the photos!
So much gorgeousness!! Thanks for sharing!
