More Valentine Love...

OK...now I'm just hooked on making Valentine's Day decorations...or Valentine's Day love, as I'll call it. I had some charm squares that my sister gave me a couple years ago and I thought they would make a nice little mat for this little table I have in my living room. The table is a wonderful tray table I got a few years back for hosting a Southern Living party and I just love it. I like to put a little something on it seasonably, but I have to make sure to leave enough room for a drink and Don's book, because he likes to read in the chair next to it.
I don't consider myself a quilter by any stretch of the imagination...but I love to sew...and this kind of project goes together very fast and is fun.

Look...my corners are pretty darn close...I cut the charm squares in half and sewed them together...maybe that's where I miss...my cutting...it could be off by a hair...but it is pretty good I think. My eyes are very bad... so sometimes I think I will never be able to match the corners, but I will keep trying!
Enjoy your day, my friends...and don't let the little things (like matching corners) stop you from trying something new!

Well, that looks like a pretty cute quilt to me :-) It surely brightens up a corner and inspires Valentine love!

Very cute fabric and quilt. I would love to try quilting, but need to get a sewing machine first. A minor detail!

You have a very nice blog. Loved that post about Lola *helping* you do the yard work. =)
