Yesterday was a good day...

It's been hot in my neck of the woods this week...I thought yesterday would be a good day to take a drive down to see my sons..it was. We decided to drive down to OB and eat at one of their favorites...Ranchos...yum! I had a shitake mushroom burrito...it was wonderful! We had two hours of parking left on the street so we headed off and spent a bit of time looking in a couple antique stores...then off to the beach...I just wanted to dip my feet in the water...it was a hot day...97 degrees in San Diego is hot! It was so nice down by the water...
I even wrote my name in the sand...

And gazed out into the ocean...at that point I really wished I had thought about bringing my swim suit...the water was cold, but it felt good on my feet and legs...

There were a few boats out sailing...and lots of people swimming and surfing...

It was cool down by the water...and no humidity in the air...

November at the beach is a special treat...even in Southern California! The crowds were thinned out and the day was nice...and best of all I was spending the day with my sons...now that's what I call a perfect day! I hope you have a great day yourself today!

Sounds like a perfect day! Any day spent at the beach is a good one. Thanks for sharing.

The temperatures are in the 30s and 40s in Ohio and some areas are seeing snow flurries.

Happy Friday! La

That sure sounds like the perfect day to me! How nice that you can go to the beach in November...it was in the 40's here yesterday (highs) - lows in the lower 20's! Brrrrr! So glad you had a great time with your boys!

XOXO,

Cyndi

This looks so nice and warm. It is growing colder here in central KY. We will have our first fire in the woodstove this weekend.

I am just catching up with this week's blog reading, you have certainly been busy since I last called by and in every post have shared some beautiful photos. I really wish I was able to be there on that beach with you and enjoy that warmth, although it has been pleasant here since mid week around 21C and blue skies. I want to be on that beach to write my name in the sand it is years since I have done that :)

The temperature is a bit too hot for my taste but what a great way to cool off! The ocean waves are beautiful.

Sounds like a wonderful day, Linda. I love the ocean too. It was very rainy and wet here which was OK because we had to be inside most of the day for a choir workshop....getting a headstart on our Christmas music. We did have time for a very wet walk however!
