Have you seen these...

 Have you ever heard of these flowers before...yep...they're Marigolds...
But these are different from ordinary Marigolds...the leaves taste like black licorice...no kidding...they really do! So I had to have them...because if I ever get an urge for black licorice...I can just step outside and get that taste...now if they only made them taste like Cherry licorice I would be a very happy gal!!!

They are much taller and leggy. I have never liked licorice but am glad you do:}

Calling by as another Outdoor Wednesday participant today, I have never come across this variety of marigold before, fascinating!

Never seen them before.. do they smell the same as normal marigolds? Very pretty.

I've never seen such long tall marigolds, Linda! My Dad was a big fan of licorice -- he alwasy ahd a bg of "All SortS" by his reading chair.
