It was a good day...

Today was a good day...well...a great day really...we had the best visitor for about half the day...our great niece Stella kept us company while her Mom went to buy a new dresser for Stella's soon to be baby brother...we had lots of fun today...blowing lots of bubbles....
A little gardening...which included lots of bird watching...Stella thought all the humming birds were the babies and the sparrows and finches were the Mommies and Daddies...it was so sweet...we watched Jungle Book while we ate cheese pizza and strawberries...we even made a bowling alley on the back porch out of empty water bottles and an old softball...
Stella enjoyed spending time with her Uncle Don...
She helped him measure things for the project he finally felt good enough to start...
And there were lots of rides in the wagon...up and down and up and down the street...the only thing... Don couldn't convince Stella to pull him! Maybe next time...so this is what retirement life is for us...just hanging out with the ones you love and enjoying yourself!! Like I said...it was a good...strike that...a great day!!
Until next time...enjoy YOUR day!!

What a cutie pie. Is that Deb's granddaughter? Looks like she kept you both on your toes. What a fun way to spend a "retirement day"

She is so cute and I just wished her a happy birthday on her grandma's blog. Love the old fashioned wagon.
