Finally...some much needed rain...

It's raining!! I love the rain...it makes everything so clean and wonderful...it's chilly too...in the low 60's...feels like Fall...
The normally dry river bed at the end of my block is no longer dry...
And there's the beginnings of a pot of chili in the crock pot...life is good!!
Hope everything is as good wherever you are!!
Have a great day, my friends!!

Oh that chili looks delish....After a week and a half of rain, I welcomed the sun back like a needy child....It's been glorious here the past several days and I'm clinging to my summer! Enjoy your raindrops and chili!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Your chili looks so much better than mine. My husband only wants beans and meat in his. No veggies. I can sneak them in if I chop them up small enough but it's still not as pretty as yours. Enjoy that rain. We're supposed to get more tomorrow!

I haven't put the beans in yet...there's 3 kinds of peppers and two kinds of onions in there too!

I wish I could send the rain we had here to you, and Texas. We had so much rain that many soccer fields are under water thus had to cancel games and practices.
