Enjoying the small things in life...

Sometimes when I'm walking along... things distract me...well...I don't really think of it as a distraction...most people do when they're walking with me...I call it... an attraction...I'm attracted to the smallest of details...so today I thought I'd show you what called to me...what I was attracted to on our hike through the forest...

I am amazed at all the small things that are to be seen and often walked right by...so many different textures and colors were present on the walk...did you notice the moss on the rocks and tree trunks...those were only two of the many colors on the rocks and boulders out there...and so many different kinds of pine trees...I counted at least eight different kinds of pine needles...just in this small area...I looked on the map this morning and it said it was 4 miles into the large grove of Aspens...so we walked about 8 miles total...so much beauty in this area...so many little things growing among all the large trees...hard to believe there were still wildflowers blooming...they were tiny...I am so thankful to be able to take walks like this...to enjoy all that God has given us...to be grateful for the little things....until next time...
Enjoy the day!!!

Beautiful photos! Would so enjoy a walk like this! I'm wondering if the first two photos are of cat's paw? Its related to the dandelion?

They said the photos don't depend on the camera but the eyes who used it, and i love your beautiful photos. I also love your lens as mine cannot get these close-ups of those artistic barks, lichens, leaves, trunks, very amazing patterns. And your wider angle shots in the previous post are very beautiful too, love them! thanks.

Wow....Linda....I'm so attracted by your distractions, and distracted by your attractions.

You are a lady of many talents - your sewing and creative design are like none I've seen before - and your photography - oh, your beautiful, gorgeous, photography!!!

Have a blessed tomorrow! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

A girl after my own heart. I am the same way. Moss growing on a rock gets me so excited. I love every little detail about nature. Even when we are driving somewhere I'll ask hubby to take the back roads. There is so much more to enjoy than on a busy highway. Even if it's just enjoying the beauty in anothers yard. Loved all of your photos. Thanks so much for visiting me and your sweet comment. Now a new follower.

This was a great post, Linda. Your photos are amazing and we all need to be distracted or attracted more often by the little things in life that God has given us. Thanks for the reminder.

What beautiful pictures! I especially like the ones of the white birch trees. We don't see sights like that here in Ohio. Thank you for sharing.
