Score!!

Have I ever told you how much I love going to thrift stores...I'm sure I have! Just about every time we go down to San Diego to visit with the boys we make a great find at a thrift store down there...this time it was at the Salvation Army...it was the end of the month sale...we scored this great Warren Kimble print for $4.80!! Yippee!! It's in perfect condition too...I went on-line and looked it up...the price of this size print unframed was $19.99...and this one is double matted and a nice frame too!! It found a nice home under the cabinets in the corner of my kitchen...

And then...look at all the wool I found!! All the clothes were on sale for 10 for $10...so wesearched and searched and found 10 wool pieces! My camera flash changed the colors a bit...that blue is deeper...but a wonderful color and the red is more Burgundy...anyone who knows me...knows how much I love to work with wool...it is the best...but so expensive! When I can find a deal like this...I want to shout from the roof tops!! Yeah!!Salvation Army!!

Just a reminder...Brooke's give-away is open until May 4th...so if you haven't gone over there and entered...you still have a bit of time. I donated this bag to be given out...and it would be great if one of my friends won it. You'll like reading Brooke's posts...she has had quite an adventuresome life these last couple of years...her faith is an inspiration...many going through these kinds of things would give up! She is funny too...so go on over there and let her know you want to enter and that I sent you over there...and if you have a minute...link her give away to your site...she's way far from any town and could use some new friends...we all can use a new friend!!

Have a wonderful Monday, my friends!!

Wow! What great finds! How was San Diego? I went there last summer with my sis-in-law. It was a business trip for her & I tagged along. We had a great time. I just love California.

That was definitely a Score! Love that cow print too and the wool is a treasure. I checked out Brooke's blog. She is definitely a ray of sunshine. I loved reading her story and checking out her quotes page. I'm hoping I win that bag. It is a lovely!

Hi Linda. I too, as you probably know, am a huge thrift store junkie! GREAT finds! Don't you just get so excited when you find something like that WK print? The wool was a bonus too! Deb invited me to come sew on Wednesday, and as luck would have it, I do not have Noah, but have a hair appt, that I cannot change, with my daughter. Maybe next time. Have fun!

Great find on the print, it looks like it was made for that spot.
