I made a zipper bag...

I must admit...that I never tried making one of these until now...but I was so inspired by Angela's zipper bags and she e-mailed me and told me how easy they were...so I tried it! My only problem was that I used a zipper that was too long and I had to shorten it and that left one corner of the bag a bit wonky...but it's OK for the first attempt on this kind of bag...I'm OK with it...I will return the zippers I bought and get shorter ones...because this was fun!
Of course...the fun part for me is the wool work...
The back needed a little something too...
Polka dot lining...boy is this picture out of focus or what...I just noticed this...oh well...as much as I try to do things right...not perfect here...
Enjoy your day...and make something that makes you happy!!

Oh that is sew cute. Love the bug on the back too. I made a zipper bag last summer and the zipper part didn't turn out, so I swore off them. But made one a couple of weeks ago and had good luck, so I'm going to do more.
Your garden looks so good. You have some flowers that must love the heat. Mine is struggling...well don't know if that is the heat or the lack of love this summer.
Looking forward to next week.

Cute, cute, cute and I love the little detail on the back! I just want to tell you again how much I'm using my bag. I had lots of totes, but it is my "go to" bag now. With all of the running we have been doing out of town for the day etc., I can fit a change of clothes and shoes, my kindle and the pockets hold a little makeup, a bottle of Advil, some granola bars...perfect bag!
