It's October 1...and Fall has not quite decided to come to my neck of the woods...
We thought it was going to... at the beginning of the week...
But the weather is fickle here...record temps are predicted for the next few days...
So I just added Fall to the inside...and pretend...
Just a little...to ease into it...
I don't want to rush it...well...really I do...I love Autumn weather...its clear and bright...yet much cooler...usually...
I even made a bag of Fall colors...to celebrate...
This picture posted out of order...don't know how that happened...it sort of ruined my thoughts...oh well...Autumn Sedum...soon the flower will get darker and darker...
Oops...back to my bag...oh you get my jest...Fall is just a state of mind here ya know...right now...we're always a bit behind...but as I dream about the upcoming season...that's all I can do when its over 100 degrees outside...I hope you are seeing some changes in the weather where you live...in 15 days...I will get to experience 2 weeks of Autumn in Minnesota and the Dakotas...I can't wait!!
Until next time...enjoy your day!!!

Beautiful signs of fall in your home. I love the blue cow.
My son bought that for me at Good Will...it's one of my favorites!
Good to hear from you again, Linda and if any one deserves a vacation you do!!
Best wishes
Christine
gorgeous pics and love that bag, well done.xx
Oh my goodness! Flowers, then pottery, then the bag. You're killing me with all these pretty things! Great job on the bag!
Hi, Linda!
We're looking forward to seeing you, too! A word of warning...it is unseasonably COLD here today. We might even have snow flurries tonight!! We hope we will be having our "Indian Summer" when you and Don are here.

Love the way Don does his wood. It makes old(reclaimed) wood look so good. The birds and bird hanger is really pretty. Your bags will look good displayed on his pieces. And of course you had to have pumpkins for yourself.
You have really gotten creative with your bags. They are always great, but they get better and better. Love the patchwork with the bird. It does say fall.
It has cooled to the 80's here...Whew! It was actually too cool to sit outside this morning with my coffee without bundling up.
Hope you have a great show. I wish I could come. I want to see lots of pictures of your display. Dennis and my boys used to do wood pieces years ago when I did the Tehachapi Mountain Festival. Oh gosh that was in the 80's. Where does time go.
