It is tiny!! You see...one thing about waiting to find a Christmas tree is you take what you can find...Don went out...like he always does to find the perfect tree...for the right amount of money of course...he looked at so many places...there were only dried up expensive trees...or big 12 foot trees...and behold...he found this little tree just waiting for a home! They practically gave it away too! The problem with a tiny tree is decorating it...to start with...the stand was too big. Problem solved...we have an old galvanized bucket that would be fine...we put some rocks in the bottom to hold up the tree...filled it with water...and perfect...second...a short tree is cute, but too short is bad...so we put it in the wagon we have had since Joseph was a baby...another problem solved. I filled the base of the wagon with pine garland, pine cones and some red shiny balls. The next issue was lights...we just couldn't have as many as we would like but we down-sized and used just our favorite decorations...the light ones...branches were smaller too...and we think we have a great tiny Christmas tree!
Merry Christmas, my friends...take time to enjoy the Season!!

It is a beautiful tree. I too have done a small tree and placed it in a wagon on my front porch. NEVER..EVER get rid of that wagon!!!
I loved your story. So true. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!
A beautiful tree, Linda. It's also a great story. You are so right.
Merry Christmas.

I just love your little tree in the wagon! That's so sweet! :0)
I love your tree! And a tree in a wagon would work for us with the puppy, that's for sure!
thats the cutest tree Ive ever seen....LOVE it in the wagon!!!!
I love your tree. Linda! The wagon was a wonderful idea. We had luck finding our real tree this week in a local Home Depot. It's smaller than the ones we usually buy, but nice and full. I'll be decorating it this weekend.
When you have lemons make lemonade. LOL Your small tree is just lovely. It showcases your ornaments perfectly and the wagon was a terrific idea. I bet you like it even better than if it had been the usual size.
Linda, your tree is beautiful! Bigger almost never = better! If it brings you happiness and joy, that's what matters. And just think...once the holidays are over you can just pull your little tree out to the curb (or compost pile)!
Merry Christmas, sweet friend!
XOXO,
Cyndi
